Associate Attorney
Attorney Asher Weinberg grew up on Long Island, New York, and has lived in various parts of the United States for both work and education.
Before pursuing a legal career, Mr. Weinberg spent nearly 12 years in the hospitality industry, working his way from waiter and bartender to bar owner. His time in the service industry honed his ability to treat each individual with dignity and respect, a principle that continues to guide his professional approach.
After leaving the hospitality field, Asher attended law school and, upon graduation, dedicated himself to providing legal assistance to low-income individuals, particularly those facing landlord-tenant disputes. He also worked for the Office of Public Defense. Over his career, Asher has represented thousands of clients facing a wide range of criminal charges, handling cases in every county across Maryland. His experience includes litigating over 30 felony jury trials in addition to numerous misdemeanor cases.
As a criminal defense attorney, Asher has developed a strong focus on DUI defense. He has successfully defended DUI cases in both State and Federal courts and authored innovative motions to suppress unconstitutional stops, which have been widely utilized by attorneys throughout Maryland. Known for his dedication and zealous advocacy, Asher takes pride in standing up for his clients’ rights.
